What this is all about:

Plain and simple, this is my confession and admittance that I'm not the photographer I thought I was. I thought manual mode meant manually focusing the lens, not realizing that shooting in manual means shooting in actual manual mode and adjusting the aperture and fStop and ISO and all those wonderful things that I'm learning. I just enrolled in a digital photography class and I thought this would be a good place to dump everything that I'm learning, including all my practice shots, impressive or not. This whole thing is a huge learning experience for me but I'm really excited to see the outcome...
